And yes, it looks different than the classic Matt Jefferies design. Longtime Star Trek concept artist retrofitted the design to be more in keeping with the Discovery-esque aesthetic.
Purists don’t like, of course, no real shock there…me, i dig it. I can even see where Eaves threw in a couple of ideas from his sketches for the NX-01 Enterprise.
I am looking forward to seeing what they do with her in season 2…
