A little overdue with this, but its finally time to post some new images of Mr. Miraculous and his various costume/armor set-ups. These costume and armor components can be found throughout the game or purchased from the in-game store. Some are awarded for mission completions, others for exploring sections of Metropolis, Gotham City, the Watchtower, and others…You can combine them as you see fit, color them within the confines of the Tri-Color preset system in the game (one of the things i was disappointed in).

This a very small sample of the various items he owns…but most of them are styles that dont fit his character.

One more set to go after this…

Miraculous beginnings…

MrM004MrM005MrM003   You’ve seen the sketches, time to see what inspired them. As mentioned earlier, Mr. Miraculous was originally created in the world of DC Universe Online, the MMORPG . So here we have a few screen-captures of him, in his original form.

This will the 1st of a series of posts displaying Mr. Miraculous’ many costume variations. As you play the game, you earn new costume items ranging from the old Spandex types to various pieces or armor, helmets, capes, backpacks, rocketpacks, wings, etc. You get to customize the look, mix and match pieces. There are even various items you can purchase that cant be earned in-game.

In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night…

021814_024a   I never really was a fan of Green Lantern, until that train-wreck of a movies came out. Before its release, I was inspired to go out and pick up a few collections of the DC comic book and had the pleasure of reading a number of issues from the Blackest Night storyline. I rather liked it. Then DCU Online introduced the Green Lantern power-set and i decided to create my own.

Here, I give you my own member of the Green Lantern Corps. In the game, he’s known as AbleLantern. The accompanying screencap helps to explain the look I was going for. The idea behind the character is that a damaged ring locates its next wielder, a dying soldier…when they join each other, they are fused together, becoming an extremely powerful, living ring. In the game, no symbol on his chest so I had to make sure it was in the drawing. This is one of many that I really want to try my hand at coloring someday…
